I was at the Social Media Summit 2011 in Chennai yesterday and since it was held in an all girls college the male facilities were somewhat under represented. This caused a big role reversal whereby the queue to the male bathroom was long and the queue for the female one was non-existent.
However, never one to give up a networking opportunity, the bathroom queue itself turned out to be the place to do your networking, names and business cards were exchanged, thoughts and opinions were passed around, even once inside the bathroom the conversation only stopped when people went in to their respective stalls and continued as they exited.
